A Week Together in Paradise

After saving up for a couple of years, the stars aligned with babysitters and time off, and we decided to take a second honeymoon to the Western Caribbean! It was an incredible experience, and very much needed.  We loved having alone time for an entire week! We didn't actually take a ton of pictures (having too much fun I guess).  This is what we did actually get:

Our first day aboard the ship.  Loved the towel guy!

 Our first stop was in Cozumel, Mexico.  We went to Chankanab, a national park, where we went snorkeling and hiking.  We don't actually have any pictures of the park, but it was a great experience!  We highly suggest it.

This picture is before our hike in Belize.  We hiked about 1.5 miles up through the jungle, then tubed down a river inside a cave on the way down.  It was a ton of fun!

Formal Night!

This is where Joseph won a game show on board the ship.  It was Hasbro live, and he competed in "Simon Flash".  He ended up getting a Cranium and Yahtzee game out of it!

 This is Costa Maya, our last stop.  It was mostly shopping, but luckily I speak Spanish and really like to shop, so it worked out.

Our last night aboard the ship, the crew made about 500 animal towels and put them all over the ship.  It was really cool!

We ended up getting really close to these two couples who we had dinner with each night.  It's crazy how you can become good friends over just a few days!

Overall it was a fantastic experience, and one we would repeat in an instant.
