Fort D. Rusell Days

In conjunction with Cheyenne Frontier Days, the base holds Fort D. Russell Days.  Basically it's a celebration of all things military: from the Revolutionary War to the present day military.  We got to see a battle reenactment of the American vs. the British (we lost), play in some Korean War vehicles, "fly" a helicopter, and play in some present day security forces vehicles.  This will definitely become a family tradition!

Korean war family picture.

Hyrum isn't sure what to think of the helicopter.

They had a little Korean War pedal car.  They loved it!

The hole was too small for an adult face, so Hyrum's baby face filled in.
