Our Little Lydibug

So while we were doing that whole "school" thing, our beautiful Lydia continued growing up!  And while I was terrible at blogging (it was a really busy semester), my mom was still faithful at taking her monthly pictures.  Thank you mom!

She turned 4 months 

...and 5 months

And continued growing...

and rolling and eating solids and doing all that fun stuff that babies do.

And now we have an amazing, healthy, beautiful 8 month old who has brought nothing but absolute joy into our lives.  We are so grateful for this opportunity to be parents, and have certainly learned a lot from the experience thus far.

Right now Lydia is so, so, so, so close to crawling!  She moves her legs up and down and can do a bear crawl, but her little arms keep on getting in the way.  We predict she'll have it down in the next 1-2 weeks. She is starting to be able to say Mama and Dada as well as use a few signs to alert us to her hunger.   Her favorite foods are bananas, pickles, and blueberry puffs.  She rarely cries and loves to laugh and smile.  We couldn't have asked for a better baby!  We know she will be an amazing big sister.
